Health and Fitness
We believe that investing in our students’ personal fitness promotes overall physical, mental, and academic growth from adolescence to adulthood.
To encouraging daily exercise, the physical education courses at Boulder Creek require your child to measure the results of their daily physical conditioning and reflect on their accomplishments at the end of each term. Your child will be introduced to both aerobic and anaerobic conditioning in a program that includes circuit training, outdoor cardio-conditioning, weight training, abdominal/core conditioning, and sprint training.
Your child will also learn and play a variety of sports. Our goal is for your child to learn the value of physical fitness, gain skills, understand important health and wellness issues such as nutrition, body image, healthy lifestyles, and how to set and achieve personal fitness goals.
